Hello all,
Today is Saint Patrick's Day also known as St. Patrick's Day, and St. Patty's Day in the olden days known as (Irish: Lá ’le Pádraig or Lá Fhéile Pádraig). Many people celebrate this day and don't really know what it means. I never did until today. So i decided to share that knowledge with you the general public.
Apparently St. Patrick's Day is the national holiday of Ireland. It became a Feast Day in the Roman Catholic Church in the 17th Century a large part due to Franciscan Scholar Luke Wadding. The Day is celebrated in large part in Australia, North America and heavily in Ireland. It is associated with the color green, Shamrocks
and little men in green suits called "leprecaughns". North America has become increasingly faithful to celebrating the day. They have parades and most peculiar they dye there Rivers like so
.
I am also surprised to hear from Bud Bundy that they are apparently trying make it an official holiday here in the states. Go figure although it might be him trying to get that passed. Anything to do with drinking and he's there. With the day also know for drinking it all means one thing to many...Lets get drunk.
Get it out get it out...there ya go. Now here's a beer.
As always Sweet water and light laughter, till next time we meet,

Nice post. I'm not "Bud Bundy" am I? I think I'm more a Kelly Bundy or Jefferson, the neighbor.
